Police arrest gambling game at city saloon
In a rear room at 732 Haugh Street Sergt Hagerty and officers busted a twenty one game with Frank Barger, Frank Zonk, and Charles Marsi. Fourteen dollars lay on the table as the trio were fined five dollars each. New York news reports the murder of Lotta Menninger, kidnapped Nov. 29, found strangled on a Manhattan roof. The girl’s body bore neck bruises and a cut above the eye. Identification was made by her father Charles Menninger.
