Dr William H Clark a prominent Indianapolis physician for 40 years died suddenly Thursday morning near the rear city market after an acute heart attack. Born in Baltimore he moved to Indianapolis and practiced widely with his sister Lina Moffett as partner. He was a lifelong Methodist, never married, and will be buried in Crown Hill cemetery. His sole surviving relative is Naomi C Moffett of N Delaware St. The death shocked Lina Moffett who cared for him, and bystanders offered aid as he collapsed while disposing of garbage at the market. Funeral plans await arrangements by Undertaker Frank Blanchard.
The Beta Sucist Bowling league will hold a meeting at the Grand hotel Thursday night to discuss plans for reorganizing the league for the coming season. President Ora Cobler and Secretary E. F. Beaumar called the meeting. teams likely to remain include From The Lake, L. 8. Ayres, the New Torkator, the Star Store, Waston’s, Block’s, and the Kahn Tailoring company, with rumors of a few withdrawals.
Mary Ford of 113 Bloke Street appeared before Justice of the Peace William Shepard after a confusing, garbled report. The proceedings referenced received an uncertain outcome as names and details were heavily distorted.
