Serious Injury After Horse Throws Rider at Delaware and Washington
Thursday morning the first accident of the demonstration occurred. Googe N Short of the George H. Thomas post and a prominent K of P man, an aide of Marshal Zollinger, was thrown from his horse at the corner of Delaware and Washington streets. He suffered a three inch head gash, severe bruising, and possible skull fracture after the horse bolted at a barking dog. He was taken home to 236 N Mississippi by Kregeio.
