Scaffold Fell Injuring Workman Demund in New House
A plasterer Henry Demund aged 60 was injured when a scaffold collapsed in a new building on Capitol Ave and Twenty eights th street Friday morning. He fell ten feet, received a head gash requiring 15 stitches, and was taken to City Hospital. His skull was not fractured but concern rose due to his age. The scaffold's cause remains untested. Also, James Jolly paid a fine after drunkenness in Mayer, and a residence on West Morris Street suffered $86 fire damage from a defective fuel issue.
