Plan to give idle men work on boulevard project
Commercial Club and Merchants join in pushing street and parkway repairs in Indianapolis. The city council will provide about 45 000 dollars to hire idle men for the Fall Creek boulevard extension from Capitol Avenue to Northwestern Avenue and other public works. A special council meeting is set to appropriate funding next week. This follows a call for citizen cooperation and asserts the boulevard is part of the larger city system designed by George F.
