Four or five men tried to rob Whitinsville national and savings banks between 1 and 3 am Saturday. They gagged watchman Joseph Beauregard, blew a safe containing books, left burglar tools and fuse, and fled with a team. Banks offer a large reward. Four of the five suspects wore dress suits.

Tragic Train Fatality In Pittsburg
Two young boys from Columbus Ohio, Stuart Jackson aged 1 and Austist Mente aged 1, were walking on the Pinhandle railroad track near Corks Huot tunnel when they stopped for a freight.
