Mrs Blanche Eckert was fined $10 by Judge Cox for contempt of court after failing to appear to prosecute her husband who caused her arrest for striking her. She said she overslept. Eckert was discharged.
Benjamin H. Prather, accused of siphoning funds from the Commercial Travelers' Mutual Accident Association, showed a poor memory on the stand. He could not recall exact earnings from insurance work or travel expenses totaling about 3500 dollars claimed as spent for the association.
