Boy Bank Employee Admits Stealing From Vault
Edgar C. Featheringill, 16, admitted stealing 2251 dollars from two vaults at Continental National Bank where he worked. Detectives say he bought a car for 1600, two suits, hid 250 in silver, and 175 was found at his home. He gained access via a temporarily opened book vault. Hoosier Boy Lost Two Months Found Read in Colorado
Gregory Aubuchon an 18 year old from Michigantown Indiana, missing tourist, was found dead in Rocky Mountain National Park near Longs Peak. Forest rangers recovered his body from a midsummer snow bank at the cliff base after rain and sun melted the snow. Park officials say he likely fell while attempting to reach the peak and died instantly.

Trio Held After Offering To Sell Stolen Car
Lieut Jesse McMurtry of the mobility squad received word that three men visited a garage at Rural and Washington and offered to sell a car they did not have. They returned with the car and were arrested. Identified as Jerry Duke 1413 East Washington Fred Ross 16383 South Meridian Lee Sherman 2154 Ashland Avenue. The vehicle belonged to Pete Thomas 150 West Washington and had been stolen from Capitol and Washington. Thomas hadn’t known his car was stolen until the arrest. The three face vehicle taking charges.

Bandit Robs Oil Station After ChitChat With Clerk
A well dressed bandit armed with a revolver robbed Oscar El Kortepeter at a Standard Oil station on Washington Street last night. He pocketed $35 from the cash drawer, then fled with a companion in a car. Kortepeter, alone at first, talked about automobile polish and oil before the thief demanded he open the safe and escaped as a customer arrived. An earlier attempt to hold up the station months ago frightened away the bandits.

Arbuckle to be tried for murder in Rappe case
