Parachute tragedy claims baloonist in Massachusetts
In North Adams, September 5, Eugene M. Stafford of Boston, a balloonist, fell 1600 feet to his death during an attempted double parachute drop. More than 10,400 spectators witnessed the fatal accident as he changed parachutes and his weight broke his belt during the maneuver.

Wounds Sharp as Boosers Clash On Noblesville Road
