Dublin reports that the republican Cabinet has accepted an invitation for a further conference with Lloyd George in London on the Irish situation. No plenipotentiaries named yet, and the Sinn Fein publicity department awaits receipt before releasing details. The Irish Bulletin notes Ireland will accept only a free union with acceptable political and economic terms.

A site must be approved by the park board, with a luncheon set to discuss further steps and funding, about $15,000 already in the treasury and more to be raised.
Governor McCray announced that Sullivan county tea field unions ratified an arbitration agreement with mine operators. The panel will include John Hessler and P H Fenna to resolve all disputes for full and final settlement. Acceptance marks a victory for McCray’s program to restore order amid mining tensions and unemployment reports.
