Girl Killed in Motor Wreck at Coatesville Indiana
Coatesville Indiana May 6 20 year old Mabsl Masten daughter of Ira Masten died after an automobile wreck three miles south of town. She and sister Vivian were returning from Silveville with Jon Ray and Mart Hadley when the car crashed into an embankment. Masten suffered multiple injuries and died about an hour later at a nearby farmhouse. Survivors include her parents and two sisters. No funeral arrangements announced. In Anderson Indiana two other accidents injured several people including 18 year old William Beatty 21 year old Mike Moore and 18 year old Darrell Shock. Moore was seriously hurt and taken to hospital. A second wreck near Anderson injured Darrell Lemon 20 and others. Near Evansville Mrs Mary Hoch 76 and Harmon Martin 40 and Eva 34 were injured when a car struck their vehicle. Hoch suffered broken legs and likely death. All were hospitalized.
