The boy described as chubby with blue eyes wore blue and white striped pajamas and a blue serge coat.
Abell, 15, a Princeton high school student, was seriously injured when an 11 pound shot used in a meet with Evansville high school was thrown wild by Robert Wilcox of this city and struck her on the head. Physicians say no fracture is evident. Princeton beat Evansville 57 to 41.
Closing arguments in the trial of Charles E. Ruthenberg on criminal syndicalism began late today. The jury will decide his fate sometime tomorrow.
In Bloomington on May 1, Senator Watson and Governor McCray spoke at a second district rally on choosing a successor to state chairman Lawrence F Lyons. In Tangucigalpa Honduras May 1 Associated Press American prisoner Clara Phillips the Californian “hammer murderess” allegedly plotted escape with help of fifteen students including a 16 year old. A ladder was found at the jail wall. Phillips refuses photos and plans to reveal her side to the public. Also Jesse Carson claims innocence as he is held in the penitentiary with the women awaiting extradition papers.

German industrial magnate Dr Gustav Krupp Von Bohlen und Halbach, president of Krupp works, is held at Werden jail near Essen after arrest by French occupation authorities. He faces court martial on charges tied to the March 21 Krupp plant riot which left 14 dead, with possible life terms or death penalty and hefty fines. Also jailed are three Krupp directors and other officers.
The Gitzens Gas Company filed with the Public Service Commission an acceptance under protest of the temporary $1.15 per 1000 cubic feet gas rate. A permanent rate will be set after appraisal and hearings. The company also seeks authority to cut service connection charges by 15 to 20 cents and submitted a new schedule.
Two unmasked men robbed the Linna re bank in Linnsburg Indiana at 2 PM taking about 1 847.27. They locked cashier Linn in a back room and fled east in a Chrysler with the hood off. Patrons heard shouts. the bandits were seen around town the next day. An older man advised opening a savings account for his daughter before coercing Linn. Police traced camping near Nichols farm but found little. Suspects described as a 35 year old and a 21 year old, with one man 5 feet 8 inches, 160 pounds, the other 145 pounds with a mustache.
In Waterloo court Mrs. Nina M. Fellows testified that she sold her year old child to her husband Fred Fellows for 150 after a separation. He claimed he paid 75 down and a note for 75, and stated he would not return the baby.
Dr. E. T. Julian of Fort Wayne Ind formerly of Terre Haute was found dazed at the wheel of his car in the business district of Terre Haute May 1. His jaw was shattered and face cut and bruised. The rear window glass was partly shattered and indicia suggested a bullet may have caused the damage. The doctor could not explain how he was injured.
Premier Bonar Law left Southampton today aboard the Princesa Julians a Dutch liner for Genoa Italy on his vacation as reported from London May 1 Universal News.
In Tallahassee on May 1 the Florida Senate debated banning corporal punishment in prisons but postponed final action. Senator Hodges defended the bill while Senator Phillips offered an amendment to ease penalties. A Senate inquiry into convict camp conditions led by Senator Knabb will begin Tuesday and run about a week. Governor Harriss called for removal of County Judge Wills. a committee hearing on the recommendation is set for tomorrow afternoon.
