Sedition charge filed against Myerscough in Pittsburgh

Thom as Myerscough secretary treasurer of the Progressive International Committee of the United Mine Workers was arrested on sedition charges as he left the Allegheny county Courthouse. He sought papers from raids at the Labor Lyceum where several men were arrested. District Attorney aides say the Workers Party is the Communist party in disguise seeking to overthrow the government. Papers claimed include 170 applications for Workers Party membership. Judge Haymaker would rule on the petition later.

Finishing Noblesville Pike Nears Completion

Noblesville Indiana June 18 favorable weather allows the final layer of concrete on the Indianapolis Pike connecting Noblesville with Indianapolis to be laid this Wednesday. The highway has been under construction for five years with contractor T G Gant noting about fourteen days are needed for the cement to dry and the road should open to the public around the first of July.
