Body of Evansville Drowning Victim Found
The body of Mrs. Elmer Strasser of Evansville, drowned with two others in the Wa bash river at Font, was recovered by J. Baker of Odell. The badly decomposed remains were found a mile south of the drowning site near Buzzard Highland. About fifty searchers in canoes had worked since Friday and the body was taken to Lafayette undertaking and then Evansville for burial. Mrs. Strasser and others were part of a picnic and bathing party.
