Five slackers sent to prison in Fort Harrison cases
Charles Werley Smith, 38, laborer, convicted Tuesday of draft evasion and sentenced to one year at hard labor in Fort Leavenworth. He claimed not to notify authorities, moved locations, and previously registered at West Maryland Street. Several others named include Roy Cooper, James Bradley, John Wilkinson, and William Miller.
