Bandits held up Peoria and Eastern Freight No 92 near Danville Illinois this morning. Two men rode from Peoria, uncoupled the air hose, and opened a whisky car. About 150 gallons of high grade whisky were removed and loaded into waiting cars before the raiders fled. Authorities believe the act was planned in Peoria and the robbery involved the whisky car at a point west of the line.
