Drowning of George P Harvey Near Angola Lake
George P Harvey 62 of North Ritter Avenue drowned yesterday while swimming with friends celebrating Elmer Kiser’s wedding anniversary near Angola at Pleasant Lake. A skilled swimmer, he became exhausted and disappeared before help arrived. the body was later recovered. Harvey, born in Lisbon Indiana, was a Butler College student and active in Central Christian Church and Sunday school work. His death follows that of his brother Archibald earlier in a three week span.
