Washington May 6 the Attorney General directs the commander at Fortress Monroe to produce Jefferson Davis in Richmond federal court next Monday. In Richmond the US District Court Grand Jury consisting of three colored men from Alexandria was impanelled. Attorney General Stansberry argued the Mississippi and Georgia injunction cases denying basis in equity, stating laws protect citizens rights and courts cannot be used to shield state actions. no further proceedings were held as the session adjourned.
