In Albany on Friday June 9, cattle prices fell as New York and Brighton markets closed heavy. About 6,200 head arrived, with early declines of 4 to 3 per cent per pound. by day’s end declines averaged 8 to 18 cents per head. The top price reached 9, prime 7 to 9, and over 200 cattle remained unsold. Sheep receipts around 4,000 with prices from 5 to 6 dollars.
