Seed corn question urged two year supply for farmers
County Farm Agent John W. Warner warns the seed corn question is the worst in history. He urges farmers to select enough seed for two years, choosing early maturing varieties and drying seed properly in a warm dry place. If field selection before harvest isn’t possible, save ears at husking and dry thoroughly. The Farm Bureau notes Rosen Rye from Michigan as a high yielding variety to try.
