Deserted Mines Trap Farm Machinery In Burrell Township
A grain separator sank in a deserted coal mine while being moved near Mack Turner's farm in Burrell Township. It took a large tractor and 12 men to free the machine. Last week a team of Kin Libengood’s plow horses also sank in a deserted mine, rescued after effort.
