Indiana County Christian Endeavor Holds Silver Anniversary Convention

The Indiana County Christian Endeavor Society celebrated its silver anniversary at the Presbyterian church, with County President James R. King and Indiana society leader Harry W. Harbart presiding. The event featured histories of the union, reports from mission leaders, and election of new officers including Rev. W. M. Norment as president and Anna Thompson as secretary.

Christian Endeavor Convention Advances Temperance Drive

In a broad report from the Indiana County convention, Rev. Bannen led talks on better lives and service as delegates from Washington, Blairsville, Tunnelton, and other churches pledged to promote the Increase and Efficiency program. The gathering adopted resolutions urging local societies to adopt plans, extend missions, and push a saloonless 1920 while observing Increase and Efficiency Week.
