Lack of Water Delays Plumville Street Construction

The eastern half of Plumville’s street work, part of the Kittanning road project by Johnston Drake Piper, is held up due to water shortages. Creek water dammed at the site has delayed securing enough to complete the 18 foot roadway to the square. Once drought ends, a six foot addition on each side will widen the street to 20 feet, with detour issues and no town alleys to ease traffic through the center.
