County finances and jail project cited in judge’s economy

The article argues judges do not manage finances but county commissioners do. Judge White promoted strict economy since taking the bench, avoiding county debt until the new jail. The jail and bridges cost over $100,000, creating about $70,000 debt, with county debts now over $100,000 in public works. It compares annual court costs with neighboring counties, noting Indiana County under $13,000 while others exceed $30,000 to $75,000.
