News from the far west reports the marriage of Mark Hopkins of Portland and Maude M Capelle of Vancouver on October 16. Hopkins has lived in Portland for 13 years. Glade Loughry of Williamsport was a guest of his father J N Loughry.
Rossmoyne S L Van Horn spent days hunting on his father’s farm. Mr and Mrs J E Brewer and family hosted guests from Youngstown and visited friends in Georgeville Indiana and Clymer. Several locals hosted or visited relatives through the weekend with multiple callers listed. Motivational closing lines urge perseverance with victory near when darkest.
