J Wilmore Cline, 83, found murdered on his West Wheatfield township father’s farm in a field near his home. He was attacked while returning from the mill, shot in the back and legs, then struck with stones and his skull crushed. The robbers took money and a watch, while a passbook and check were found nearby. No definite clues. several suspects seen in the area.
