Indiana County Faces Heavy Sinkng Fund Tax Levy
Indiana County plans a sinking fund tax levy to cover $214,000 in bonds and interest due next year. Total outstanding highway bonds reach $2,770,000 with varying series, while real estate and occupation valuations have fallen sharply reducing sinking fund receipts to about $159,000. The four mill general levy remains, supported by economizing measures amid lower valuations and exonerations.
