Kimmell and Houck cows lead association
October reports from the County Cow Testing Association show 27 herds tested, 69 cows dry, 4 sold for profit and 14 bought. High milk herd belonged to Harry Kimmell with 11 registered Holsteins averaging 74 pounds, while Clyde Houck’s Jersey herd led in fat. The list includes top 10 butterfat cows and honor cows producing 1000 pounds of milk or 40 pounds fat.

Alongu Sides returned from Philadelphia Hospital much improved. Miss Chrissie Gibson sprained ankle last week. Raymond Lockard was a Comato love caller Saturday morning.
