Bond Issue Likely Defeated in County
In a sweeping General election, county districts mostly voted against the bond issue for state highway improvements. White township led opposition with 151 to 30, while Pine No. 1 supported 164 to ?, and Clymer approved by 10. Homer City and Glen Campbell defeated the measure. Blairsville turnout remained tight. County results suggested a Republican win for Jury Commissioner M. H. Henry, while Indiana borough elected James Crossman and W. M. Mahan as Justices, and J. Irvin Shaffer as Burgess.
