William R. Toydiek 66 of Cherryhill township died Saturday from pneumonia after a brief illness. Survived by wife and children Imma Reeseman Ralph Charles Dara, plus brothers and sisters in Cherryhill and nearby towns. Funeral Monday by Rev. G W Sprankle. buried at Sample Run Christian Church cemetery. Samuel Hines Jr 12 of Elders Ridge died early Sunday at Indiana hospital after an appendectomy. Survived by parents and six sisters, including Clara Hines, student at Indiana Normal. Funeral Monday at home. burial Elders Ridge cemetery.

Wilmerding Queen of May at Normal Swing Out

Miss Margaret MacDonald of Wilmerding is named Queen of May for the Indiana Normal School Swing Out on Saturday June 9. She is skilled in classic dances and will perform on campus during the event.
