Veterans Remembered Through Silent Tribute

In Their Memory With bowed heads we stand, as the remaining few of the G. A. R. go marching by, sad in the knowledge that within a few years at the most they will no longer be with us. Yet we glorify them in the great deeds which they accomplished in the past, and as we stand in silent tribute, we pray that their reward may be measured, in accord with the service which they have rendered. Our heroes of the Civil war, and the World war, died for an ideal, and that ideal must burn in all our minds, find entrance to all our hearts.
