Deaths of William Winebrenner and Ezekiel J Barber in Robinson region
William Winebrenner of Robinson died Friday evening after operations for rupture complications. Born Blair county December 6, 1828, he married Matilda McKendricks October 10, 1854 and had several children including Daniel H and Mary, John II, Robert G, Jane Cable, Annie Brendlinger, Rev. Scott Winebrenner, and Alice. A Civil War veteran and lifelong M church member, his funeral was held Sunday with Rev. W. M. Bergen and Rev. J. M. Cogley officiating, burial at Bolivar cemetery. Ezekiel J Barber, 75, of Dixonville, died Monday after a lingering illness. Born in Armstrong county, he lived on his Dixonville farm for 70 years. Surviving are his wife and children Robert of Burnside, Prank and Frank near Dixonville, Ezekiel K Barber of Dixonville, Benjamin Barber of Nez Perce Idaho, John, Gmina, Lillie, and KH Barber at home. He was a longtime Presbyterian and funeral held at his home with Rev. W. J. Sproull officiating, burial at Taylorsville.
