Wheat and corn show modest quotes, oats steady, poultry active with hens around 28.5 cents and dressed birds near 30 cents. Butter and eggs hold, cheese markets mixed with local and western quotes.
CHICAGO stock prices show hogs drifting, with NOGS 10 to 25 pounds averaging 8.88 to 8.15 and top 8.15. Butchers 140 to 824 pounds 7.65 to 7.95, light 110 to 130 pounds 6.75 to 7.25, heavy hogs 7.40 to 8. So killing pigs 7.50. CATTLE strong to weaker, tops 10.25, bulk 8.50 to 9.65, other losses steady. SHEEP steady to strong, lambs at 12.85, light ewes 14.40, 110 to 120 pound ewes 8.
