Wreck on Buffalo line halts rail traffic for hours
A loaded train for the Josephine furnace derailed on the Buffalo Rochester and Pittsburg tracks at Twolick on Wednesday morning, tipping the engine and causing seven loaded cars to collide. The engineer and five crewmen jumped to safety. Punxsutawney crews cleared the line Wednesday night. A second wreck near the same spot Thursday evening involved a tender leaving the track with no injuries.

Five town buyers Campbell and J M Roadkey purchased the Guiley tract of land comprising 127 acres for 8000 dollars. The property lies near Josephine, underlain with coal, includes an eight foot seam, and was formerly part of the Mildren fire clay operations. Mother Contests Death of 10 Year Old Near Bolivar
Annie Williams, mother of Ming Blanch Schultz, denies her daughter killed herself. She cites mismatch between a 82 caliber revolver found near the scene and the 58 caliber bullet that killed the child. Died on the Train In Blairsville Sudden Death
George Robinsteen of Indiana, a shipping clerk at the Robinsteen Horse Collar Factory, died suddenly on a train at Blairsville while en route to visit family in Pittsburg.
