Infant son of Mr and Mrs Meekins with light pneumonia. Socials at Memling home honor Mrs Dessie Hines and Miss Isla Hines. Soldiers attend memorial service for Willam Clark in France. Summer normal by Prof. Beggs opens with good attendance.

Rev A R Mansberger and family visited in this vicinity last.
Miss Annie Gallagher of Clarksburg spent the first of the week with Ridge friends. Miss Mary Henry and Mrs. M D Remaley were elected delegates to the presbyterial missionary convention to be held at Clymer May 21 and 22. Misses Jennie Coleman and Blanch George were Indiana callers Monday. W G C Shearer and family spent Wednesday in Pittsburgh with sons Ben and George who returned from overseas with the 15th Engineers. Miss Rebecca Mahan of Livermore visiting her sister Mrs J M Long. Miss Jennie Ogleman entertained the vocational school faculty at dinner Monday evening. Mr and Mrs John Tassett visiting friends in Bradford county. Alfred Lockard a West Lebanon caller Sabbath. The Citizens band gave a reception to friends in the gym Friday evening. Hubert Long spent Sabbath with Ronald Coulter. Miss Couch of the Vocational school weekend with Long Run friends. Chester Harvey of West Lebanon Ridge caller Monday evening. Bert Baker and family at John Baker's Thursday. GIPSY Miss Olive Lydie who taught in Cambria county last term has returned home. Miss Wava Hamilton closed a successful term of school here Friday. Mrs Mollie Colmer has word her son Harmon in France arrived in New York City and is due home soon. School house entertainment Friday night largely attended. Mr and Mrs Lynn Smith rejoice over a baby boy. Mr and Mrs A H Hess away for a couple of weeks have returned home. Miss Linnie V Smith and Mr Parks elected teachers for coming term. Miss Dollie Buchanan visiting friends in Hellwood. Miss Lillie Bartlebaugh attending school at Marion Center. Dr Leonard Smith of Philadelphia visited his parents last week.
Walter and Craig Napp Dee Deck er and Carl Nichol motored to Indiana on Saturday. Mrs H K Rodkey has returned home for summer. Rev Joseph B Kirkwood of Reynoldsville will preach at Hast Mahoning Baptist Church next Sabbath at 2 30 PM.
