A merchant found sheet music titled Welcome to Our Home in his store, never having such music before. A woman’s cabinet moved between rooms after high water, ending in a different room.

Funds Donated to Indiana County Red Cross Remain at Home
Chairman W. M. Sanders states that all relief money donated to the Indiana County Chapter for flood relief will stay in the county. No funds will be sent to National Red Cross headquarters amid accusations of diverted contributions. The report of National HQ receiving funds is cited by critics as an excuse to avoid local quota of 3500 dollars. Meanwhile Pennsylvania endured March 17 and 18 floods marked by sleet and snow with heavy ice coating in Ridgway and Erie causing downed trees, damaged poles, and disrupted telecom and power lines.
