New Year Robbery Suspect Pleads Guilty in Reed Station Case
George Mentch, alias Montch, of Rairview, confessed to robbing the Reed Station home of KB Evans on New Year’s Day. Arrested March 14, he appeared before Squire James A. Crossman, pled guilty, and awaits sentencing in county jail. Evidence linked him by trousers found at his residence and a stolen property cache including clothing, a revolver, and coin.
