Clymer defeated Hellwood 8 to 1 on Saturday before about 3,000 fans. Rumgay starred in left field making several catches and throwing out a runner at home. Hellwood fielded five foreign players including Brown Trainer Westover Green and Martin who has signed with the Washington Americans.

Homer City Couple Celebrates Golden Anniversary
Mr and Mrs William Hovis of Homer City marked fifty years of marriage on Tuesday June 21. Relatives and friends totaling about 37 attended a noon dinner and a ceremonial address by Rev J R Morris of Homer City Presbyterian Church where the couple are longtime members. A purse of 72 dollars and 105 postal cards were given alongside a family portrait and read verses by Mr Hovis. Elizabeth Allen Hovis is the bride, married near West Sunbury June 21 1860 by Rev John Coulter. Five children were born, three living, including John F Hovis and others from Wilkinsburg Homer City Brushvalley Plumville and Leechburg areas.

Robbers Bind Man To Floor At Tunnelton Home
Hamilton Dunlap of Tunnelton was robbed and bound to the floor at his farm home near Tunnelton on Tuesday night. Two men knocked him unconscious, rifled pockets for about $100, then fled. two railroad workers found him alive Wednesday morning and freed him. Dunlap did not recognize his assailants.
