Mortgage foreclosure notice in Indiana County precedes appearance
In the Court of Common Pleas of Indiana County No g8 June Term 102 in a mortgage repetition by William Anthony to James A Bayard dated February 3 1820 for 300 with payments 100 on April 4 1841 1832 and 100 on April 1 183% the case names Julia Cunningham Elizabeth Wigerts Margaret Wenderson and Lewie Welay and others against James A Bayard heirs. The land in Armstrong township Indiana County bounded by Withau Calhoun lands and Mary I Page is described as containing about 2324 acres with road allowance. The petition alleges twenty one years have elapsed since principal and interest were due without payment and that current owners are unknown. An order dated May 1 1921 directs appearance in court.
