Local Families Gather for Weekend Visits in Smicksburg

Smicksburg residents and relatives from Akron Pittsburgh Philadelphia and Cincinnati visited kin across town and nearby towns. Mrs Gahagan Mr Black Mrs Rivers and many others attended church events and a Sunday school conference. Local library trustee donated books as residents reported on weekend visits and illnesses.

Community members attended social events and paid calls across the region. Mrs. Vrhuhle spends summer with her mother on the farm while Mr. Creth and family visited Georgia, and Mrs. Campbell with her two daughters Mary and Simi were seen visiting friends.

Local Notes From Marion Center And Surrounding Towns

Marion Center and nearby areas report social calls and visits. Mrs. 1 Gh Work and daughter Wa af Indham were town cutters on Monday. Glasser and family from Dixonville visited relatives. Miss Mona Grtt Atddings completed school in Folnstown and returned home. Charles Rochester, an Indiana caller, and Prof J Tydimes from Wilgus were in town. Several residents, including Miss Nellie Shawley and Mrs. Mary Charmin Trown, traveled to and from homes in Indiana and California. Local residents attended commencement at Wetzeldo State College and many plan a large celebration. painting crews and shoppers were noted around town.
