Woman Found Guilty of Bigamy in Indiana County Trial
The jury convicted Lulu Lutman of bigamy and adultery after she admitted two marriages to John Lutman of Cockport in 1909 and Elmer Cressley of Greensburg in 1911. Lutman testified she was drugged before the first marriage but claimed the second was valid. Five head of cattle die of rabies on Repine farm
A herd of five pure bred cattle owned by Frank Repine of Blacklick township died Friday and Saturday from rabies. The remaining stock is quarantined as Dr. S. C. Weamer and state authorities investigate. No dogs are blamed for the outbreak, and the infected cattle were kept separate and given special care. The dairy herd was recently purchased by Repine.

Homer City Wins Concrete Contract for Prairie State Works
Indiana man P. J. McGovern secured a contract worth 865000 for concrete construction on the Prairie State Incubator Works plant at Homer City. The one story F shaped building will be among the longest in the nation, with a 429 foot frontage and a 272 foot extension on one side. Roof support pillars will be two feet square, framed by 10 by 14 foot windows. Preliminary work begins this week, with completion hoped by the holidays.
