Kenwood farewell party for Gibson family moves to Biafraville
The farewell gathering for Mr. and Mrs. John Gibson and family was held in Odd Fellows Hall Saturday night with many attendees. The Gibsons plan to move to Biafraville. Several locals visited relatives and friends over the weekend including teachers Misa Emigh and Helen Huston, Irene Gibson, Mrs. Humes of New Kensington, and others from nearby towns. Perrin Huston of Vandergrift also spent the weekend at his home here.

Bethlehem Mine holds first aid meet in Heilwood town
Heilwood Indiana residents Heilwood Mac McCullough and Henry Edwards joined the Bethlehem Mine Corporation Heilwood division in town. The annual first aid meet was held June 1 with first prize winners to Sparrows Point Maryland to compete with other Bethlehem divisions. Local visitors included Mr and Mrs James Beveridge and son Nora Shultz and daughter Cleveland Ohio visitors Prof and Mrs H P Pett ed attended Indiana high school commencement Friday evening. Henry Edwards and family of Indiana spent Sunday with the Beveridge home.

Joe Moore and family of Clymer visited at the Joe Mock home Sunday. The Meekins reunion at Pine Flats Klan farm had 68 of the generation present with a good time.
