Local social tide swirls through Homer City area visits
A long list of regional guests and travelers fills a Homer City area column. Among those visiting relatives are March and Mrs. Frank Blose with D. B. Allison, Mrs. Lowery and son Billie, Mrs. Sher man, and Mrs. Work with Floyd. Many townsfolk motored or traveled to Punxsutawney, Pittsburgh, Akron, and Indiana for family visits, church events, and a Memorial service at Pine Church. Nearby residents report illness, hospital trips, and a Stronestown festival well attended.
