Hudson the Explorer of Europe and North America

History's mysteries recount Henry Hudson as a famed early explorer of New York's river and Hudson Bay. Born uncertainly in England, he led voyages in 1607 1600 and 1610, glimpsing a passage to the Orient but meeting ice and mutiny. On June 25 1611 he and several sailors were set adrift in an open boat, fate unknown.
