Van Horn and Perry Van Horn of Ambridge with their father visited the farm near hers. Joe Grago of Homer City spent the weekend with Mrs. Grago’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Dersuyak. James Elkin lost a valuable horse last week. Virginia LB Lydick is on the sick list. Debert G Frantz Mrs. Wells and Lula Hagelott attended the funeral of Mrs. Eimner Beck of Trade City on Friday.
Clara Wingert returns home after a visit with relatives in Marchand. Local Grange events include a Traveling Bible gift and lunch after entertainment. Basketball results show Marchand's team lost to Marion Center business club 30 to 20. Community members travel to Pittsburgh Indiana and New Kensington for work and visits. Local doctors make calls. injuries occur including Mrs Wingert’s finger. Oyster supper hosted by basketball team and Ladies Aid Society earns good turnout. Revival services continue at M H church with special music. Several residents visit Indiana and Pittsburg for personal business. 90th birthday celebrated by John Warner with friends and dinner. Strongstown updates note visitors, family visits, and church activities. Continuous social and religious events mark weekly life in the area.
