Remarkable Companionship of Four War Braved Friends
In 1858 four South Carolina clergyman families sent sons to Cokesbury boarding school. The youths remained roommates at Wofford College and studied law together before enlisting. All four served in the Civil War from South Carolina, fought in the Second Battle of Manassas, and perished on the same frontier. They were Ospers, McSwain, Smith, and Duncan, sons of bishops and reverends, buried together with a granite markers and iron railing.

Johnny's Essay Of Does And Towser
Fragmentary excerpt describes Towser lying in the sun and flies buzzing, with a bee parading nearby. The text shows a rustic voice and possible past summer scene, but lacks complete context or clear events to summarize a full incident or outcome.
