Religion of Ghosts Declares Spiritualism a Delusion
In a sermon by Dr. Talmage printed from February 25, he denounces spiritualism as a dangerous ancient practice. He traces its roots to necromancy and witchcraft, warns of deceptive séances and raps, cites Saul and Endor as biblical warning signs, and urges a Christian seance with the Bible as sole revelation. He laments its harm to reason, bodies, families, and faith, urging trust in God and rejection of ghosts.
