Blairsville Man Disappears In Cold Search For Reed
A Blairsville resident Mr Reed, aged, left his home to visit his daughter Mrs Hill of Mt Jewett several weeks ago. He vanished February 10 and McKean County Miner lists no trace by February 18. A county wide search is on with Mt Jewett borough offering 25 dollars for information. Mrs Hill fears he may have kept a valuable gold watch. Fears mount he did not survive exposure.

Man charged in arson case tied to Arcadia home
Harvey O'Hara of Montgomery township was arrested after a fire destroyed his home last November. Valued at 700, the insured building was not paid due to arson allegations. Deputy Fire Marshal Clyde Seanor led the investigation, and County Detective Josiah Neal arrested O'Hara last week. He posted 1000 bond for March court. Also planned are new telephone lines by Farmers Telephone Company with routes from Indiana to Cockport and other towns, to be finalized at Marion Center.
