Bloomers Stirred a Quiet Marriage in 1900s Town

Mrs. Louise Cranston, an avid cyclist, declares she will wear bloomers. Her husband Tom objects, fearing societal judgment and divorce. A plan by Louise and friend Mrs. Kynaston leads to a bicycle parade with bloomers, softening Tom's stance. He later concedes, sensing the shift in household dynamics.

The Dress Fit That Helped Louise Twist Tom's Arm

Louise Cranston seeks a change of mind from her rigid husband Tom by a dress fitting. He agrees to be measured for a bicycle dress, despite a dinner engagement, after a tense half hour of pleading and tears.
