Hortons and neighbors share eventful week in Clearfield

Horton s Will T Smith and Frank Cessna called on business in Clearfield. Mrs Ray Brickell visited her parents the Williamses. Violet Clawson ill with pneumonia. The McCall home welcomed a baby boy on December 13. Local residents made Christmas visits and held school and Grange gatherings with entertainment and open meetings scheduled for January 5.

Penn Central Seeks Power Line Easement in Indiana County

Notice is given that Penn Central Light and Power Co. has applied to the Public Service Commission of Pennsylvania for a certificate of public convenience to authorize the appropriation of a right of way for a high tension transmission line over lands of Ebbe Smith Irene Trout and W Williams in Pine township Indiana County.
